Scoring binges galore
The boys basketball season is not even a month old, yet there already have been high-scoring performances not normally seen in one season.
In particular, two players have gone off on multiple nights, those being Kyle Vinales of North Farmington and Richaud Pack of Birmingham Seaholm.
Vinales already has scored 40 points or more in two games this year and 35 in another. Pack scored 45 points in a game against West Bloomfield in December before taking it to a new level against Troy on Tuesday, pouring in a sickly 56 points in a 95-71 Seaholm win.
Wow.
In addition, Carlton Brundidge of Southfield scored 32 points in the second half alone during a 69-61 win over archrival Southfield-Lathrup on Tuesday, while Brandon Carlson of Waterford Kettering scored 32 points in a win over Rochester last month.
Given there's still over half the season left to be played, all Kosmo can say is that it should be a fun regular season.

doesnt that kind of tell you they where playing a team with no defense.
thats awesome...glad none of these kids go to pontiac highschool..were the coaching staff still practices favors and favoritism for some... Coach ren covington and stimpy webb need to grow up and stop this practice... Im sure Dan fife as well as the rest of clarkstons basketball team would agree... How can u have the best point guard in the class of 2011 sitting on the bench..#21 lavallis who is your best ballhandler playmaker and passer on your team.. And play him at center when u finally do play him.. Im sure clarkston high..detroit pershing..and detroit southeastern coaches and players all thank u at pontiac high for your ignorence in coaching.. Is this some radical new coaching style keeping yr best guard on te bench to protect and playin him at center.. I think its called dumb coaching method 101""and i think your coaching staff has it mastered or is it hate on a kid with good grades" pontiac citizens think its both.. Just a hint to coaches Ren and Stimpy.. Moody and lavallis...are your starting guards.
