A lot is normally made about the first day of practice for Fall sports in August, but with this nice March weather, Kosmo thinks it was just as wonderful a sight on Monday to see spring sports teams around the state be able to conduct their first practices outside.
Each school around the county has been and will continue to be a flurry of activity this week, with athletes in baseball, softball, track, girls soccer, boys golf, lacrosse and girls tennis all able to start their practices outside this year.
If that's not a sign that spring is around the corner, than Kosmo isn't sure what is, so he hopes people take notice despite the fact it's not the publicized event the first practice day in August normally is.
