Kosmo's 3 stars for Friday night

Well Kosmo isn't sure where the time has gone, but the regular season for high school football teams is over. For those who will be playing in the playoffs, best of luck. For those who aren't, start getting ready for next season and hopefully you can experience the postseason next year. There were a lot of great performances in Week 9, but here are the ones that jumped out most to Kosmo in his weekly 3 stars. Third star Alex Spurlock, Waterford Kettering - It was great to see the Captains end the season on a winning note, and a big reason was Spurlcck, who ran for 152 yards and a touchdown in a win over Dearborn Edsel Ford. Second star Justin Losey, Troy - What a senior leader this young man was all year long and especially against Oxford. Despite the fact the Colts fell short and likely won't be in the playoffs, Losey nearly single-handedly carried his team to victory with almost 200 all-purpose yards. First star Ian Eriksen, Clarkston - Kosmo would love to find somebody different for his first star every week, he really would. But it's a little hard when Eriksen just keeps putting up incredible numbers. He ran for 292 yards and four touchdowns in win over Oak Park to continue what has to be an all-state season.
