A couple of issues Kosmo wants to touch on this Thursday. One, Southfield-Lathrup made a good move by hiring Keith Stephens as its new football coach last week. Stephens is an experienced and well-respected coach who will get a lot out of the speed and overall physical talents Lathrup has on its roster each year. Kosmo is happy to see a good man and coach back at the helm of a program. Second, the Oakland County bowling championships are on tap this weekend for those interested in watching some bowling. The boys event will be held on Saturday at Cherry Hills North in Clarkston while the girls event will be held on Sunday at Thunderbird Lanes in Troy.
