Wide open road to Ypsilanti

Next Tuesday is a Class A state quarterfinal at Grand Blanc, and for the entire season, Kosmo would've bet his whole cave and Koz-mobile on Birmingham Marian playing Saginaw Arthur Hill in that game.
All the K-Man can say is that it's a good thing he's not a betting man.
First, Arthur Hill gets knocked out in districts by Flushing. Then came a shocker of all shockers, as Marian not only got beat, but trounced, by Romeo on Tuesday in a regional semifinal.
With those two perennial powers out, there's a golden opportunity for a program to make history by advancing to the state semifinals.
Either Romeo, Lake Orion, Flushing or Traverse City West will make it to the Final Four.
Kosmo isn't sure any of those programs have ever made it to the semifinals or not.
Regardless, the opportunity door is wide open for any one of those teams to achieve something special with two wins.
