Storch passing the torch and what it means

It's been a few days since the announcement that shook up many in the high school coaching community when Troy Athens soccer coach Tim Storch, who is to his sport what Al Fracassa or John Herrington is to football, announced that he is leaving the program and school district at the end of the season to pursue opportunities in Alpena.
Kosmo certainly was taken back by the news, and Storch is a true living legend who'll be missed.
Not only is he a successful coach, but he's as classy an individual as there is.
In light of this news, there's two big things that Kosmo thinks will happen, but will obviously have to wait and see if those predictions will come true.
The first prediction is that Athens will win the state girls soccer title in June. Already a talented bunch, the Red Hawks will have more motivation than they could've possibly dreamed of as they hope to send Storch out on top.
The second prediction is that Kosmo believes the successor to Storch, who has been the only soccer coach the school has known since 1981, will be Todd Heugh.
Yes, there'll be a huge line of people hoping for that job, but if the K-Man were to guess, it'd be Heugh's job if he wants it.
Heugh not only played at Athens and was a member of the 1989 state championship team, but he's an accomplished coach at the club and high school level. He coached the boys team at Rochester to a state title in 2002 and the girls team at Rochester to a state runner-up finish in 2007.
Again, it's just a prediction from your seer. We'll see what actually happens.
