During the last few days, Kosmo drove around Oakland County in his K-Mobile and noticed a good site throughout area schools. Since the weather has been so nice, Kosmo has seen a bevy of spring sports teams outside getting good work in.
Baseball and softball teams have actually been able to get out onto the field. Soccer and lacrosse teams have been able to practice in shorts and T-shirts. Track teams have been able to get out on the track.
All this certainly beats training inside, which should make all these teams better prepared when their seasons start within the next two weeks.
If there was bad weather recently, it could've made for some problems with the teams having to start so early in late March.
There still could be some bad weather next week, but at least there's been some sort of suitable training conditions for those spring teams.
