Get ready to JAMM
Even though its the heart of spring sports, which means outdoor activities, Kosmo will have one indoor event on his mind on May 15 at Pontiac Northern High School.
It'll be a celebration of the 10th anniversary of the JAMM project, which stands for Just Aim, Motivate & Move.
It was founded 10 years ago by legendary Northern PA announcer Ray Wright, one of Kosmo's main men, to help promote the importance of academic success to metro Detroit youth.
For the past 10 years, the JAMM project has helped assist and mentor kids after school and raise awareness in computer literacy, physical education and health, conflict resolution and abuse.
This year's event will feature a celebrity all-star basketball game and a slam dunk contest, as well as appearances by members of the Pistons and Shock and local media members, both in broadcasting and print.
The event will be from 6 to 9 p.m.
